Bernard Introduces New High Deposition MIG Welding Gun

An armored locking trigger, rubber grip and Stay-Tite fittings make the new HD Q- and S-Guns ideal for high deposition MIG welding applications.

BEECHER, Ill., July 25, 2008—To meet the comfort and durability demands of high deposition MIG welding — high current loads over long, continuous joints — Bernard introduces its new HD Q™ and S™ Series MIG gun options.

Valuing both operator comfort and high performance under rigorous conditions, the HD Q-Gun and S-Gun is available in 300-amp to 600-amp models and features an exceptionally durable one-piece straight handle with a rubber grip for excellent maneuverability.

It also features an armor-protected locking trigger with an optional dual-schedule switch— features that provide toughness and reduce operator fatigue.

The HD Q-Gun and S-Gun also features Bernard’s Stay-Tite™ technology, which incorporates long-lasting compression fittings and large, tapered neck-to-handle connections to ensure that the gun runs cool and delivers a consistent electrical current to the weld pool.

The HD gun is integrated with Bernard’s MIG gun Configurator, which allows users to fully customize their gun with a variety of cable, neck, consumable and direct plug options to meet the requirements of nearly any high deposition MIG welding application. The HD gun can also be paired with Bernard’s new Heavy-Duty Centefire consumables for the ultimate in heavy-duty, high-deposition performance.
