Elliptical Tip Advantages
Elliptical contact tips integrate with the Q-Gun's thermal transfer system to run cooler and last longer. Common, fine-threaded tips often suffer stripped threads on both the tip and gas diffuser, requiring the replacement of both, adding costs and downtime.

Bernard pioneered the use of the elliptical tip that engages the wall of the gas diffuser, locking firmly into place with a 1/4 turn. Elliptical tips provide a much larger surface area for electrical and heat transfer than fine-threaded tips so as to run cool and extend tip life.

No threads: elliptical shape locks in place with a 1/4 turn for quick replacement, variable stick-out, superior electrical and thermal conductivity.
